Physicians are trained to care for others — but rarely taught to care for themselves in the OR. ErgoSherpa changes that.
Four steps. Built around how proceduralists actually work — quick reference between cases or during downtime.
Use the interactive body map to tap exactly where you feel discomfort — neck, lower back, shoulder, jaw, eye strain, knee, foot, and more.
Curated stretches and strengthening exercises with video guidance — designed for proceduralists, not generic gym advice.
Save your favorite exercises, log completions, track pain trends over time, and set daily reminders that actually fire on iOS.
Practical tips for loupes selection, surgical stools, anti-fatigue mats, monitor positioning, and procedure-room ergonomics.

Dr. Reid is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. He completed medical school at the University of Michigan, residency at the University of Iowa, and his Mohs surgery fellowship at Geisinger, where he developed a deep interest in the intersection of procedural technique and long-term physician health.
Growing up with a physical therapist for a mother, proper posture and body mechanics were never optional in his household. When he entered medicine, he was struck by how little formal ergonomics education exists in training programs — despite musculoskeletal injury rates as high as 90% among Mohs surgeons. ErgoSherpa is his way of sharing the practical techniques he has honed over years of surgical practice.
